In 1991, Lazlos Brewery & Grill opened in Lincolns Historic Haymarket District, bringing the state of Nebraska its first brew-pub. The demand for our from-scratch cooking, our hand-crafted ales and our teamwork approach to service was immediate. Over the years this demand fueled numerous expansions for the restaurant. A second Lazlos Brewery & Grill location opened in 2000 in South Lincoln and our third in Omaha in 2006. In addition we were delighted to open Lazlos sister restaurant, FireWorks, in Lincoln in 2002.
Lazlos Brewery & Grill offers creative comfort food served with a contemporary flair. Earth tone colors and architectural elements feel stylish without stealing the focus from the food and casual atmosphere. Each restaurant includes cozy booths, fire places, outdoor patios, handsome bars, happy hour specials and top-notch staff. Lazlos also offers call ahead seating, private dining and take-out service.
Our food is lovingly hand-crafted from scratch with fresh ingredients, and cooked on our custom-grill fueled solely by hickory wood. Our burgers are made from 100% pure chuck ground fresh right here in our kitchen. Our steaks are USDA Choice, Omaha Steaks aged 21 days for maximum tenderness. We buy only the freshest fish and have it flown in daily. For the best flavors around, our soups are made from scratch and simmer for hours. This attention to detail is what gives our food its bold, signature flavors.
And speaking of signature flavors, Lazlos serves handcrafted ales straight from our in-house brewery, Empyrean Brewing Company. Empyrean Brewing Company, founded in 1997, is Nebraskas largest micro-brewery and was recognized at the prestigious World Beer Cup in Seattle with a silver medal for Luna Sea ESB.
